Playlists
Hi guys! Today I'm going to be talking about playlists, where you add a group of songs of your liking and done. You can make as many playlist as you'd like and about what ever you would like, which I find very cool. They allow you to compose your feelings and thoughts into something you keep to yourself or share with the world. By doing this, you can go back to these playlists and listen to whichever one corresponds with your mood. You can also create a playlist, like the one shown above, that can help you with struggles, such as sleeping, if you choose the right songs. It may take a while to find the right ones, but once you do, it will definitely help, and if end up getting tired of a song, just get rid of it.
An amazing thing about playlists are that they're different for every person. Some people have a specific style of music that is still different from others, while some have an eclectic range of music that range from indie to rap. Listening to others playlist can enlighten you about different styles of music that you may not have known or heard of before. Even if you may not like certain kinds of music, hopefully this will at least help you to gain respect for them. Music is an international language that causes emotions to be felt by different people causing them to connect with others. I actually believe that you can learn a lot about a person if you listen to their music.

New Year's Resolution
As we all know it's now 2015 and with a new year comes new goals that we may want to accomplish. This year I really want to get more into my own music. Now in order to do that, I first need to learn how to play an instrument, and that is why I either want to learn how to play the piano or the guitar. I had tried 2 years ago to learn to play the guitar and that kind of failed; however, this year I plan to try my hardest to learn even the simplest cords. I also want to start getting into writing. I've been really interested on testing out my writing skills and I believe this would be a great way to see the outcome. I would also be able to use that as an escape or a way to clear my mind whenever needed. Even though I have many other goals for this year, my music is definitely one of the most important.

Crash by You Me At Six
Hi guys! So it's kind of late in the day, but I was listening to music in the car and a song came up that I really enjoy, so I decided I should write about it. Now the song I'm talking about is Crash by You Me At Six, from their album Sinners Never Sleep, and it is one of my all time favorites because of how much it personally helps me. If I'm worried or overthinking, I play this song on replay and it leaves me with a clear mind and more relaxed. A huge factor that helps me calm down is the fact that at the beginning of the song, one can hear the singer taking his breaths between the lines; this personally helps me because it's a reminder to take deep breaths and I just follow his breathing patterns. I would definitely recommend listening to this song if you're feeling overwhelmed in anyways as it leaves you in a serene state.

How to Reuse Old Sheet Music
Hi everyone! So today I will be teaching you how to reuse some old sheet music if you have someone. I personally think it makes candles look even more beautiful and it is very easy to make.
For this project you will need a candle, tape, scissors, sheet music or any other type of paper you would like to use.
Step 1: Grab your candle and sheet music. Wrap the sheet music around the candle in order to measure the length and width in which the music sheet needs to be. You can use a pencil in order to mark where you should cut or if you don't mind it not being perfect you can just guess.
Step 2: Once you know where you want to cut go ahead and cut the sheet music.
Step 3: After cutting the sheet music go ahead and wrap the sheet music once again around the candle and use the tape to secure it to the candle.
Now you have you finished candle!
Now there are also some extra steps if you would like to give your candle more character like the picture above. We are just adding 2 extra steps and 1 extra needed material which is yarn.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 from the steps beforehand.
Step 3: Grab your sheet music and cut any shape would like into it.
Step 4: Once you have the shape cut out go ahead and wrap the sheet music once again around the candle and use the tape to secure it to the candle.
Step 5: You may use a string of yarn, ribbon or anything of your liking and just wrap it around the top of the candle tying as a bow.
And now you have your second style candle!

A Little Bit About Me
Hi, I’m Esmeralda but you can call me Esme. I’m currently a freshman in highschool who is really just a normal girl. I enjoy reading, music and watching movies and spend most of my time doing one of those things. My favorite book is probably The Fault in Our Stars by John Green or The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. Yes, I know The Fault in Our Stars is mainstream but it really is a great book as well as The Outsiders. My favorite movie would have to be The Goonies because who doesn’t love a good truffle shuffle? Now although reading and movies make me happy, I would say music takes up the most amount of time in my life and even though I don’t play an instrument, I do enjoy listening to different genres of music. Music is just a getaway. It can lift someone’s mood or, if needed, can helps someone relax and I think it’s amazing how it has that effect on people. I plan to use this blog to share different kinds of music, what I believe a song is trying to say and really just music in general. I hope you enjoy!
