Hi guys! So as many of us know, Christmas is near and the Christmas music is already starting. Now some people enjoy the classic Christmas songs that are played throughout the month of December, but I know of some who aren't very fond of them and if you're one of those people I have the perfect solution for you. If the only thing that truly annoys you about Christmas songs are the tune and they are just too jolly for you, I have a few Christmas songs that you may like. Death Cab for Cutie - Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) is found on the album, Maybe This Christmas, and is quite similar to the original yet a little more relaxed you could say. It is a wonderful slow song and the band did a great job covering it. The Punk Goes Christmas album is full of many different bands either covering songs or singing Christmas songs they've written. This album is not only full of many different songs, but the bands bring their own style which makes the range of people who enjoy it even larger. If you are totally anti-Christmas and you want to listen to something that voices your hatred for it, then I have 2 songs for you. This first song, Set It Off - This Christmas (I'll Burn it to the Ground), I will admit is kind of dark, and I would hope no one would really burn Christmas to the ground or go to that extreme because they hate it so much but you can really tell how much he hates Christmas. Blink 182 - I Won't Be Home for Christmas is more fun than the other and it's is actually kind of funny. He is pretty much just listing the things that annoy him and how he's not at all jolly. I also find it pretty ironic that both these songs start of with the same lines that are meant to be happy but then alter its ending to make it seem to go down hill.
